After another momentous season, a number of our players received awards from the leagues we participate in. Of note…
- After a great first year, and 10-6 record, lacrosse coach David Mitchell won MILL Coach of the Year by unanimous vote. To see a video interview with David and MILL 1st Team, David Pim, from the Washington Post, click here.
- The baseball team finished out the year with a 24-5 record, and won the Old Line Championship and the MD State B Championship. We beat Riverdale Baptist for the first time ever, and both Nick McCabe and George Koutris finished the year with batting averages over .500. Long time and winningest coach in Heights history Al Battista commented that this was the best hitting team he has ever seen at The Heights.
- Junior Chas Bassing was tagged by the Washington Post for Golf All-Met Honorable Mention (featured here).
Good Work Gents! And Congratulations.
